On the afternoon of July 6, Hu Xianru, Deputy Secretary of the County Party Committee and County Magistrate, conducted research at various enterprises and carried out the "Three Services" campaign. At two e-commerce park enterprises including Huibang Trading and Yijia Network Technology, as well as Jiuchuan Bamboo & Wood, after learning in detail about the marketing models, costs and profits of bamboo and wood enterprises, Hu Xianru stated that attaching importance to product quality is an essential prerequisite for enterprises to survive and grow. He encouraged enterprises to leverage Qingyuan’s advantageous bamboo and wood industry, focus on quality control and brand building, and strive to boost the competitiveness of the county’s pillar industries.

Hu Xianru required relevant departments to promptly study and refine supporting policies for the e-commerce industry. By introducing high-quality e-commerce enterprises to settle in Qingyuan, we can promote the county’s premium bamboo, wood, edible fungi and other products to global markets at favorable prices. As a National-level Foreign Trade Transformation and Upgrade Base for Pencils, local pencil manufacturers have been severely impacted by the pandemic. Nevertheless, all pencil enterprises took proactive measures to forge ahead against headwinds amid the crisis.

Honglian Stationery is a newly settled enterprise. Even before its office premises were completed, the company arranged 130 workers to fulfill order production. Hongxing Stationery responded to market demand by targeting the marker pen market, with its first batch of products scheduled to hit the market in August. Recognizing new market opportunities for epidemic prevention supplies, Oudi Industrial launched a production line with a daily output of 350,000 masks, generating an additional output value of over 10 million yuan for the enterprise.
