On the morning of September 28, our county held a centralized commencement ceremony for major projects themed "Return, Win-Win & Development". Lan Lingli, Secretary of the County Party Committee, announced the official start of construction. Hu Xianru, Deputy Secretary of the County Party Committee and County Magistrate, delivered a speech. County leaders Wu Qingsong, Ye Liya, Zhang Zuofei and Wu Guanhong attended the ceremony, which was presided over by Wang Shaojin. The ceremony was also joined by distinguished guests from the Qingyuan Sub-venue of the 1st World Lishui People Conference. They witnessed the launch of a batch of key projects on site and experienced the vigorous development momentum of our county.

At around 9:40 a.m., upon Secretary Lan Lingli’s order of "Commence Construction", multiple large excavators drove into the construction site and started operation, kicking off the centralized construction of these major projects.

It is learned that a total of seven projects broke ground on the day, covering characteristic traditional industries and emerging industries. The seven projects are Yongqing New Energy, Anyi New Materials, Honglian Pencils, Xuanhui Industry & Trade, Xinghua Bamboo & Wood, Guxiangyuan Agriculture, with a total planned investment of 850 million yuan. These projects include local enterprises expanding production after settling in industrial parks, investment promotion projects and Zhejiang Merchants Return projects. All projects align with our county’s development orientation of ecological industries, and serve as vital support for boosting green development and leapfrog progress in Qingyuan.

Since the beginning of this year, the new session of the County Party Committee and County Government has adhered to the development strategy of "Building the County through Ecology, Enriching the County through Industries, Invigorating the County through Opening-up". Centering on the goal of "Building a Beautiful Grand Garden and Striving to be the Finest Blossom", we have fully launched the "Hundred Regiments Campaign for Green Development". From January to August, 48 capital construction projects started construction across the county, completing fixed-asset investment of 2.953 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year increase of 12.7%. The growth rate is 1.4 percentage points higher than the municipal average, delivering a promising mid-year performance in economic and social development.

In his speech, Hu Xianru expressed the hope that this centralized commencement event would create a new upsurge across the county in planning projects, attracting investment and driving development, uniting tremendous strength of Qingyuan people at home and abroad to jointly build a new beautiful Qingyuan.

To accelerate the completion and operation of these projects, Hu Xianru put forward three requirements. First, government departments should act as dedicated service attendants for projects, providing meticulous and thoughtful services to build the service brand of "Qingyuan Attendants". Second, project owners should take the initiative to push forward construction, firmly advancing investment and construction tasks to foster a vibrant atmosphere of large-scale investment, construction and development. Third, hometown elites should serve as bridges linking all sides, contributing wisdom and resources to investment promotion and county development, attracting more projects, talents and technologies to return to Qingyuan, so that all residents can jointly build and share the beautiful Grand Garden of Qingyuan.
